Ours is a classic “Hinge to hitched” kind of love story.

Abhishek and Milauni met on the dating app Hinge. So yes, we can proudly say we’ve gone from “Hinge” to almost hitched.

Abhishek, tired of endless swiping, was patiently waiting for the day he’d find his forever plus one. Meanwhile, Milauni, equally frustrated by the relentless nudges from family and friends to “get married already,” finally took the plunge and downloaded Hinge. It turned out to be the best decision ever.

Just two weeks in, Milauni found Abhi. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, bonding over their shared love for Bollywood, Indian street food, and marathon naps. But the ultimate glue? Their mutual obsession with Maahi, Milauni’s (now Abhi’s too!) dog-daughter. Maahi joined the family shortly after their first chat, and she stole their hearts before she even arrived.

On May 20, 2022, they had their first date. From that moment, they became each other’s rocks, building a love that was equal parts romance, friendship, and mutual respect.

Milauni’s favorite thing about Abhishek is his sense of humor and the unconditional love he showers on everyone around him—a major green flag! And Abhishek? Well, he pretty much loves everything about Milauni. In fact, he deleted Hinge the moment they started talking because, in his words, “When you know, you know.” (Cheesy, we know, but true.)
